About this role

The Data Solution Architecture Consultant will design and help build secure, high-performing, scalable data products and reporting streams for the Data Engineering and Analytics (DEA) team. The role works with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align data architecture with DevOps and infrastructure, while serving as a technical reference.

Key Responsibilities

Design/build data products, legal data layers, data streams, algorithms, and reporting systems; Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability needs; Link data product design with DevOps and infrastructure; Act as a technical reference within and outside Analytics; Partner with Data Engineers on digital product implementation

Technical Overview

This position focuses on data solution architecture across data products, legal data layers, data streams, algorithms, and reporting systems such as dashboards and front ends. The consultant must be strong in SQL and Oracle, understand database structure principles, and have familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, Cognos, SAP Analytics Cloud). Experience with distributed systems and NoSQL platforms such as Teradata, Redshift, and MongoDB is expected.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a data architecture consultant with 3+ years of Information Technology experience, capable of designing and building secure, scalable data products and reporting systems. They bring strong expertise in SQL and Oracle, understand database structure principles, and have experience linking data architecture with DevOps and infrastructure. They are familiar with analytics/visualization tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and SAP Analytics Cloud, and have experience working with distributed systems and NoSQL databases.
