About this role

Lead data transport infrastructure efforts for a DoD/USAF cloud environment, delivering secure cloud architectures; hands-on with IaC, CI/CD, Linux/Unix, and container tech; provide technical leadership across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead systems requirements analysis and requirements allocation for complex cloud/hybrid environments
Architect, deploy, and integrate cloud-native applications and supporting services
Lead cloud modernization initiatives
Troubleshoot complex system issues and drive resolution
Provide input towards on-call and maintenance schedules

Technical Overview

Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI), IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes/Docker, Linux/Unix, security best practices, IAM, Zero Trust, monitoring with Elastic/Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a lead cloud/infrastructure engineer with 8+ years of experience, capable of guiding DoD/USAF cloud initiatives, with strong IaC, CI/CD, and security skills, and a track record of leadership in hybrid cloud environments.
