Key Responsibilities

Own the design, implementation, operation, and support of large-scale databases
Administer multiple MySQL & PostgreSQL databases on Unix/Linux
Troubleshoot problems; perform performance tuning, backups, and capacity planning
Establish and monitor security and integrity controls
Migrate software to MySQL & PostgreSQL; support upgrades
