Lead physical security operations excellence across multiple nearby data center facilities. Manage vendors, patrol and monitor security, improve electronic surveillance and access controls, and communicate status through reports and presentations.

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities
• Interface and direct vendors for security construction and repairs
• Extract security metrics and track improvements with hard data
• Recommend and implement improvements to electronic surveillance and access controls
• Write and implement security process and procedures; report status to management

This is a data center physical security operations role within AWS. The scope includes surveillance and access control improvements, security patrol execution, metric-based evaluation, and operational process/procedure development for physical security.

The ideal candidate is a security operations leader experienced managing physical security excellence across multiple data center facilities. They have strong operational reporting skills, can drive improvements to electronic surveillance and access controls, and can coordinate vendors for security construction and repairs while measuring results with hard data.
