Key Responsibilities
- Qualify non-standard deal requests and ensure submission completeness
- Model price-volume scenarios, rebates, and tiered discounts with unit economics and GTN impacts
- Apply approval matrices and delegation of authority; route deals and verify compliance
- Execute post-deal checks comparing expected vs. realized price/volume and identify margin leakage
- Maintain deal documentation and KPI inputs for dashboards and Pricing Strategy feedback
Technical Overview
The Deal Desk Analyst uses SQL (Structured Query Language) and BI tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau, along with Excel-based financial modeling. The role integrates with CRM/CLM systems (including references to Salesforce) and may involve CPQ concepts to support structured, compliant deal documentation and KPI reporting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level to early-career Deal Desk Analyst with 0–5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Pricing, Commercial Operations, or Finance in regulated life sciences/animal health. They have strong Excel financial modeling skills and proficiency with SQL (Structured Query Language), unit economics, gross-to-net, and CRM/CLM deal documentation processes.
