US Foods is hiring a Delivery Truck Driver for local delivery routes under a CDL-A requirement. The role focuses on safe truck operation, unloading product efficiently, meeting scheduled delivery times, verifying deliveries with customers, and handling payments when applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive trucks to customer delivery times
- Unload products using two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand

- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
Technical Overview
Operate CDL Class A vehicles with DOT (Department of Transportation) qualifications and complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Unload and place product using two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand while maintaining delivery accuracy through customer verification and signatures, including in inclement weather.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a CDL Class A driver with at least 6 months of commercial driving experience (or 3 months in food/food and beverage delivery). They are comfortable with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safely unloading via two-wheeler/pallet jack/by hand, meeting scheduled times, and handling delivery verification and customer payment collections when applicable.
