About this role
Desktop Support Technician contract-hire role supporting a financial/investment client in Tampa. The person will work onsite Tuesday–Thursday with remote coverage Monday and Friday, handling Jira tickets and keeping technology functioning correctly, including potential AV/conference room support.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and resolve tickets in Jira
- Ensure technology is working properly
- Support desktop/end-user systems
- Check and troubleshoot AV/conference room technology when needed
- Collaborate with a small team of desktop support technicians
Technical Overview
Focus on end-user desktop support and ticket resolution using Jira, with strong Microsoft ecosystem experience. Expected tooling includes PowerShell/scripting, Microsoft Office, SCCM, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Intune, plus troubleshooting of AV/conference room technology as needed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Desktop Support Technician who can confidently take and resolve tickets in Jira and ensure end-user technology is functioning correctly.
