GDIT is seeking a Desktop Support Technician / Desktop Systems Administrator to provide face-to-face and remote Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident resolution for end-user devices and applications. The role includes onsite hands-on O&M support, device lifecycle accountability, and COOP maintenance for USCENTCOM in Tampa, FL.

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident resolution for desktop hardware, software, and applications
  • Perform onsite hands-on O&M support for client computing devices
  • Manage ADPE accountability for equipment replacement and upgrades using CERP and LCR
  • Process end-of-life and defective equipment through Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO)
  • Support USCENTCOM COOP and provide Coalition partner support (CPN and SCO) as needed

This role supports desktop computing across NIPRNet, Coalition Networks, and SIPRNet within the USCENTCOM CITS Program. It covers troubleshooting hardware/software and managing ADPE accountability (CERP/LCR/DRMO), along with desktop load set configuration testing and conflict tracking.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level Desktop Support Technician / Desktop Systems Administrator with 1+ years of related experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident resolution for end-user computing devices. They are comfortable supporting NIPRNet, Coalition Networks, and SIPRNet environments and have experience with desktop hardware/software maintenance and COOP support. They hold (or can obtain) the required DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certification and have an active TS/SCI clearance.
