About this role
Developer Productivity Engineer with a Gradle focus to strengthen build performance and release reliability for complex, multi-repo systems. Standardizes Gradle plugin conventions, optimizes task graphs and caching, and orchestrates releases across Dev/QA/Stage/Prod with automated notes and SBOMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Gradle plugins and shared build conventions
- Optimize task graphs, caching, and build performance; migrate legacy builds to Gradle
- Drive Release-as-Code; integrate gates; manage GitHub Actions runners and/or Jenkins
- Containerize release tooling
- Serve as SME and mentor for build/release topics

Scope includes Gradle-based build systems, Java/Kotlin/Groovy, CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm), and artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus); emphasizes Release-as-Code and security remediation workflows.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior DevOps/Build & Release Engineer with deep Gradle experience, strong CI/CD across multi-repo systems, automated release notes, SBOMs, and CVE remediation workflows. They should be comfortable with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, container tooling, and enterprise-scale release orchestration.
