About this role
Global Payments is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support AI/ML initiatives, including GenAI platform development and deployment automation. The role focuses on scalable, secure, and observable systems that power RAG solutions, model training platforms, and agentic AI workflows across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML and RAG deployment
- Provision and manage AI infrastructure across cloud hyperscalers using infrastructure-as-code
- Maintain Docker and Kubernetes environments optimized for GPU workloads
- Support vector database and embedding store deployments
- Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and cost using observability tools
Technical Overview
You will design CI/CD for AI/ML training and RAG deployments, manage infrastructure with Terraform across AWS and GCP, and run containerized GPU workloads on Docker and Kubernetes. The role also includes deploying and monitoring vector databases and implementing observability, security controls, and orchestration for agentic AI frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior DevOps/infrastructure engineer with 6+ years of experience building CI/CD and managing cloud-native infrastructure. They have strong hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS/Amazon Web Services or GCP/Google Cloud Platform, Docker and Kubernetes, and they can operate AI/ML platforms for scalable RAG and agentic AI workflows with robust observability and security.
