About this role

DevOps Engineer to design, build, and implement pipeline automations for internal customers on the Waystar platform. You will work with application, infrastructure, and security teams to align pipelines with networking, security, and performance requirements and support SDLC/compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Work with application developers to design and implement pipelines and workflows to build, test and deploy applications
Work with infrastructure and security teams to ensure pipelines align with networking, security and performance requirements
Support the SDLC to ensure product development passes infosec requirements
Be first line of support to enable developers to move faster within Waystar
Support in the management of internal tooling

Technical Overview

Role involves Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD tooling, and hands-on coding in C#/.NET with GitHub/GitLab/Harness/Jenkins. Focus on automation, platform tooling, and maintaining secure, efficient pipelines.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level DevOps engineer with 1-3 years of experience, strong CI/CD experience, and hands-on Kubernetes experience. They are autonomous, proactive, and able to automate repetitive tasks, with proficiency in C#/.NET and familiarity with GitHub/GitLab/Harness/Jenkins.
