About this role

DevOps Engineer responsible for owning and improving StrongMind's AWS environment, building observability and CI/CD pipelines, and supporting Azure-to-AWS migration across multi-language stacks in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Own and improve AWS infrastructure, including ECS clusters and service reliability
Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
Support Azure-to-AWS migrations and containerization
Standardize Docker containers for Rails/.NET apps
Improve observability and uptime across production systems

Technical Overview

Stack includes AWS services (ECS Fargate, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, S3), IaC (Pulumi/Terraform), Docker, Ruby on Rails, .NET, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, GitHub Actions; emphasis on production readiness and cloud migration.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer with 8+ years of AWS experience, strong IaC (Pulumi or Terraform), and a track record of migrating Azure workloads to AWS. They should be able to own cloud infrastructure, improve observability, and lead CI/CD improvements across polyglot environments.
