About this role

Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for building and operating cloud-native CI/CD pipelines and containerized services for mission-critical government/private sector applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java applications and microservices within an event driven architecture using Spring Boot
Interface with various databases (Elasticsearch, NoSQL, SQL)
Create and update application building pipelines
Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, OpenShift)
Debug Kubernetes (OpenShift) clusters and microservices

Technical Overview

Stack includes Java/Spring Boot, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker/Podman, Apache Kafka, GitOps (GitLab, ArgoCD, Tekton), SQL/NoSQL, Elasticsearch; requires active Secret clearance; Agile environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior DevOps engineer with 8+ years of JVM-based experience, strong Kubernetes/OpenShift expertise, and deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and event-driven systems. Must hold an active Secret clearance and have hands-on experience with GitOps tooling and government-facing projects.
