About this role
Cognitive Medical Systems seeks a DevOps Manager to lead DevOps engineering efforts supporting the DoD Defense Health Agency TRICARE T-5 contract. The role focuses on building, deploying, and integrating complex software systems on Microsoft Azure Government Computing Cloud using DevSecOps and CI/CD automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-performing team of DevOps Engineers
- Drive DevOps SME standardization and best practices
- Setup and maintain continuous build/continuous integration infrastructure
- Create automated CI/CD pipelines and manage release promotion to staging/production
- Partner with engineering, product, QA, and security for end-to-end delivery quality
Technical Overview
This role manages CI/CD infrastructure in Azure DevOps using Git and automates pipelines across multiple environments. It also includes Infrastructure as Code with Bicep, security-standard conformance, and DevSecOps processes in an Agile/Lean/SAFe environment with monitoring and production availability responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a DevOps leader who can manage DevOps Engineers and serve as a DevOps SME across multiple pods. They have strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and release management to Staging and Production.
