About this role
Global Payments is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer / Azure Security Engineer focused on cloud security with an emphasis on Azure. The role will implement and maintain Azure security controls, manage identity and access, perform threat modeling, remediate vulnerabilities, and support security incident escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform
- Implement and configure security controls and policies, manage access to data, and monitor threats
- Perform threat modelling and implement threat protection
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and respond to security incident escalations
- Configure defense-in-depth access controls and hybrid network security controls
Technical Overview
This role is centered on Azure security operations, including security posture management, implementing security controls and policies, and protecting data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks. It also includes defense-in-depth and hybrid network security using cloud native tooling such as Log Analytics.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level DevSecOps/Cybersecurity engineer with hands-on Azure security experience, including managing Azure security posture, implementing security controls and policies, and performing threat modeling. They are able to identify and remediate vulnerabilities using security tools, and respond to security incident escalations in a hybrid environment.
