About this role

Contract DevSecOps Pipeline & Tooling Engineer role supporting CI/CD tooling operations for cloud and enterprise platforms in a fully remote environment. You will build and maintain pipeline templates, administer DevOps tools, triage pipeline failures, and optimize security scanning across SonarQube, Sonatype, and Nexus.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipeline templates for AWS and client environments
Triage and resolve failed pipelines/deployments with root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support codebase pipeline modernization and new pipeline template development
Administer core DevOps tooling including SonarQube, Sonatype, Nexus, Harness, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira
Lead GitHub repository onboarding automation and tune security scanning tools and rules

Technical Overview

The role focuses on enterprise CI/CD pipeline engineering with AWS deployments, including automation workflows for GitHub repository onboarding. You will manage and tune DevOps and security tools—SonarQube, Sonatype, Nexus, Harness, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira—while performing root cause analysis for failed deployments and improving secure delivery practices.

The ideal candidate is a DevSecOps engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience building and troubleshooting enterprise CI/CD pipelines, including AWS deployment workflows. They have administered DevOps and security tooling such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Harness, SonarQube, Sonatype, Nexus, and Jira, and can triage pipeline failures with strong root cause analysis skills while improving repository onboarding automation.
