About this role
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial electrical and instrumentation systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance, follow SOP/work instructions, and support continuous process improvement, potentially mentoring other electrical workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Removal, repair and installation of electrical components and systems
- Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction
- Perform preventative maintenance including troubleshooting industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, PLCs, overhead cranes, and related equipment
- Follow SOP and work area instructions and participate in safety and environmental activities
Technical Overview
Hands-on industrial electrical and instrumentation work focused on advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Work includes AC/DC drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), overhead cranes, low/medium voltage equipment, and calibration of field transmitters/transducers along with reading technical manuals, prints, and schematics.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an industrial electrician/electrical technician with 2+ years of Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting skills. They are proficient with AC/DC drives, PLCs, overhead cranes, and low/medium voltage equipment, and can read and apply technical manuals, prints, and schematics to complete repairs and preventative maintenance safely.
