About this role
Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on heavy equipment used in mining operations. The role includes mechanical preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, work order and inspection responsibilities, welding, and occasional fill-in supervisory duties.

Technical Overview
This is a heavy equipment mechanical role covering diesel diagnostic and repair for haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, loaders, and graders. Core technical scope includes drivetrains and power components (transmissions, engines, differentials), hydraulics and lubrication preventative maintenance, plus welding (Carbon arc, Plasma, Mig, Tig, Stick) and blueprint-based troubleshooting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level Diesel Diagnostic Mechanic I with 2+ years of mechanical/maintenance craft experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance. They can diagnose and repair heavy equipment systems (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, pumps, differentials), perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders and inspections, and perform welding using Carbon arc, Plasma, Mig, Tig, and Stick.
