About this role
Director of Internal Audit will establish and lead Grafana Labs’ internal audit function, focusing on risk-based assurance, governance, and leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve audit coverage and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the internal audit function, including audit charter and annual plan
- Develop risk-based program covering financial, operational, technology, compliance, and strategic risks
- Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools for planning and monitoring
- Assess AI/governance controls and model risk
- Present findings and remediation plans to senior management
Technical Overview
Emphasis on AI governance, model risk management, SOX readiness, and auditing cloud-native environments with cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Legal, Security, IT, Engineering, and Product.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior internal audit leader with 10+ years of experience, adept at leveraging data analytics and AI tools, and experienced in auditing AI/automation risks within a SaaS environment. Strong governance and SOX readiness expertise are essential.
