About this role
Director of People Operations will build and lead a lean HR function to scale the firm’s people operations. The role owns core HR operations, partners with the Chief People Officer, and drives employee experience and compliance across the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a lean People Operations function supporting employees, managers, and leadership
- Own core HR operations including employee relations, manager support, compliance, HRIS administration, benefits, compensation administration, and people process execution
- Partner with the Chief People Officer to translate culture and business needs into practical people systems and policies
- Ensure operational excellence across the employee lifecycle with clear processes and high-touch experiences
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes
Technical Overview
Scope includes HRIS administration, benefits and compensation administration, employee lifecycle processes, and policy development; working across business units to implement scalable people systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced head of HR/People Operations with 8+ years in fast-growing environments, strong at building scalable HR systems, and able to lead core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, and compensation. They excel at balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution and can partner with senior leadership to shape culture and systems.
