About this role
Amgen is seeking a Director of Technology Field Sales Intelligence to define strategy and multi-year vision for field intelligence capabilities. This leader will own product roadmap and backlog for agile teams delivering CRM/analytics and AI-powered decision-support tools used by field users.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for field intelligence capabilities
- Serve as Product Owner for agile teams delivering field intelligence across CRM, analytics, machine learning, and data platforms
- Define and prioritize the product backlog with epics, features, and user stories
- Drive delivery of insights, dashboards, alerts, predictive signals, and decision-support tools
- Ensure field intelligence uses CRM activity data, performance metrics, territory data, approved external data sources, and AI-ready datasets
Technical Overview
The role spans product ownership for solutions across CRM activity data, analytics, machine learning, and data platforms. Responsibilities include defining data models, KPIs, metrics, feature inputs, and AI-ready datasets to deliver dashboards, alerts, predictive signals, and decision-support tools, with accountability for adoption and trust in AI-driven outputs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level product leader who can set a multi-year vision for field sales intelligence capabilities and deliver measurable outcomes. They have experience serving as a Product Owner for agile teams, managing product backlogs (epics, features, user stories), and defining analytics and AI-ready datasets that power dashboards, alerts, and predictive decision-support tools built on CRM activity and territory data.
