About this role
The Director, Safety leads enterprise-wide health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with OSHA and regulations; manages regional safety leaders and partners with senior leadership to build a culture of safety across a distributed workforce. This is a 100% remote opportunity with regional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Own enterprise-wide health and safety strategy and roadmaps
- Direct regional safety managers and support staff
- Direct investigations and root cause analysis for incidents
- Oversee Risk Assessment Plans and safety observation programs
- Develop and manage budgets with ROI analysis
Technical Overview
Large-scale EHS program design and governance across multiple regions; data-driven metrics, ROI analysis, risk management, and comprehensive training oversight.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive safety leader with 8+ years of health and safety experience, CSP/CHMM certifications, and a proven track record implementing enterprise-wide EHS programs across regions while partnering with senior leadership in a remote setting.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and SafetyIndustrial Hygieneor equivalentCertifications in Employee Health and Safety (EHS) required; CSPCHMMor equivalent credentials8+ years of Health and Safety experiencewith at least 3 years in leadership/management
