Director leading technology and data risk management in Capital One's second line of defense, directing independent testing of technology and data controls, and guiding integration with Discover's controls.

Key Responsibilities

Direct independent controls reviews of cybersecurity, data management and technology control environments for both legacy Capital One and Discover
Lead integration efforts related to the assessment of Discover's technology and data management controls
Perform detailed reviews of team assessments of first line control testing programs
Craft strategic vision, including GenAI usage
Provide challenge and recommendations to enhance control design and maturity

Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidate is an accomplished risk management leader with 9+ years in technology/audit within financial services, strong cybersecurity and data management controls expertise, and proven ability to drive executive-level discussions and independent testing.
