Key Responsibilities
- Leads T&S engineering organization and directs staff of managers and engineers
- Oversees strategic planning for transmission and substations
- Manages budget and capital investments
- Ensures regulatory compliance and safety
- Builds relationships with internal departments, regulators, and external stakeholders
Technical Overview
Focus on high-voltage transmission and substation engineering; regulatory policy, capital investment strategies, technology adoption; experience with PJM, MISO; knowledge of FERC, NERC; leadership of multi-disciplinary teams; management of multimillion-dollar construction work.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-to-lead transmission development professional with 12+ years of experience in energy/transmission, strong modeling and regulatory knowledge, and ability to lead stakeholder engagement and large capital projects.
