About this role
The Dispatch Manager routes and schedules all outbound freight and supervises transportation-related personnel and maintenance activities. The role ensures safe, compliant, and cost-effective transportation operations while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Route and schedule outbound freight daily
- Supervise truck drivers, admin support, and fleet maintenance
- Implement and manage branch regulatory compliance program; CFR 49
- Develop transportation budgets and operating plans
- Maintain truck licensing and permits and train health and safety programs

Focused on transportation dispatch operations with compliance duties under CFR 49 and related governmental requirements (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT). Requires operational experience using a computer inventory system for shipping and receiving.

The ideal candidate is a transportation leader with 3-5 years of leadership experience in dispatch/transportation, including in-depth knowledge of chemical distribution facility operations. They have working knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT) and have used a computer inventory system for shipping and receiving. They can coach drivers and staff while ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective freight routing and delivery performance.
