About this role

Distinguished Architect leads the architectural lifecycle for Commercial Banking projects, ensuring designs meet standards and regulatory requirements; mentors architects and drives innovation in technology and banking solutions across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural vision and high-level design concepts
Review and approve architectural design, specifications, and constructions documents for quality and compliance
Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
Conduct site assessments and monitor progress
Research and incorporate new materials, construction methods, and technologies
Mentor junior architects
Engage in business development and client relationships

Technical Overview

Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Oracle, Spring Boot, Python, GraphQL, IBM MQ, Kafka, API Connect, and cloud technologies (AWS); certification in AWS and TOGAF is valued; strong enterprise-scale architecture governance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced cloud/solutions architect with 18+ years of software architecture leadership, capable of leading banking technology projects across multiple locations; AWS certification and TOGAF are preferred.
