About this role
Distinguished Engineer will lead the Asset Management technical direction within Capital One’s Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) organization. The role defines, architects, and drives best practices for Asset Management, Security, and Compliance, while mentoring teams to support operational excellence and transformation.

- Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision for the domain
- Decompose complex problems into practical and operational solutions
- Ensure quality of technical design and implementation
- Act as an authoritative expert on non-functional system characteristics like performance, scalability, and operability
- Mentor and provide technical direction to engineering teams to drive Operational Excellence and Asset Transformation
