About this role

The Distribution Right of Way Agent supports the Manager of Distribution ROW within Entergy’s Power Delivery business unit. The role assists with distribution project estimating, scope development, financial tracking, and reliability support including permissions, letters of no objection, ingress/egress, and permit requests.

Key Responsibilities

Develop labor and acquisition cost estimates for distribution projects
Coordinate permissions for boundary survey(s), soil boring, environmental assessment, and cultural assessment
Develop initial compensation offers and oversee easements QA/QC
Coordinate necessary information to obtain permits and process payments
Oversee recordation of easements and produce project status reports

Technical Overview

The position focuses on right-of-way execution activities for distribution projects, including coordination of boundary surveys, soil borings, environmental and cultural assessments, easement QA/QC, and easement recordation with Parish/County clerks of court. It also requires accurate project status reporting and contractor/landowner payment processing.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entry-to-mid level Right-of-Way (ROW) professional who can support distribution ROW projects with cost/schedule estimating, scope development, and financial tracking. They have hands-on experience coordinating surveys and assessments, developing compensation offers, processing permits, and ensuring accurate easement quality and recordation, while collaborating across engineering, legal, environmental, construction, and project controls teams.
