About this role
Support distribution wildfire mitigation by focusing on Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings (EPSS) and asset health initiatives in high fire risk areas. Collaborate with operations teams on inspection programs, review ignition events, validate mitigation effectiveness, and help drive continuous safety improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of limited scope
- Develop and support technical documentation including designs, testing, calculations, reports, and standards
- Provide ongoing technical support to operations activities such as maintenance, testing/diagnostics, and regulatory
- Provide field engineering oversight for commissioning, testing, and inspections under direct supervision
- Review ignition events and help validate the effectiveness of mitigation programs to drive continuous improvement
