About this role
The Division Order Analyst II performs clerical, data entry, and research work for the Division Order Department to establish and maintain correct record title ownership for Continental Resources’ producing properties. The role handles daily routine division order responsibilities and supports senior analysts for an assigned geographic area.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains divisions of interest for revenue distribution and joint interest billing
- Initiates pay code changes and ownership transfers within SAP
- Prepares Division Orders and Transfer Orders accurately and promptly
- Creates division order files and file documentation
- Researches and responds to division order issues from interest owners
Technical Overview
The technical scope focuses on division order processing: creating and preparing Division Orders and Transfer Orders, generating division order files and documentation, and determining ownership through detailed review of title opinions and legal documents. SAP is used for pay code changes and ownership transfers.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an intermediate-level Division Order Analyst with at least 3 years of related land/division order experience. They can analyze title documents (leases, assignments, deeds, probates, farm-out agreements, and operating agreements) to establish record title ownership, and they are comfortable working in SAP to make pay code changes and ownership transfers. They communicate effectively with interest owners and resolve division order issues with urgency.
