This position delivers building materials and related products to customer sites using Class A CDL delivery vehicles. The driver is responsible for safe loading/unloading, accurate order verification, proper documentation (DVIR and HOS logs), routine safety inspections, and professional customer service.

  • Drive delivery vehicles and/or truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials
  • Load, secure, and unload products safely and accurately
  • Verify order details against invoice and maintain delivery logs (mileage, weights/amounts, locations)
  • Complete DVIR and HOS compliance using hand held devices (except while driving)
  • Provide customer service and resolve delivery-site concerns, including return pick-ups when needed

Operational requirements include complying with driver safety/compliance regulations, maintaining DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and HOS (Hours of Service) logs, and completing pre/post trip inspections. The driver may also operate a Forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to move materials at designated areas.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level Class A CDL delivery driver with at least 1 year of delivery driving experience and strong adherence to driver safety and compliance regulations. They can complete pre/post trip inspections, maintain DVIR and HOS (Hours of Service) logs, load and secure materials safely, and provide professional customer service at delivery sites.
