Economist II, People Experience and Technology Central Science

Economist II in PXTCS applies economics, behavioral science, and ML to identify mechanisms improving Amazon's employee experience. The role designs pilots, builds scalable models, and translates findings into company-wide programs.

• Design and conduct rigorous evaluations of benefits programs

Focus on structural econometric models, causal inference methods (DID), and scalable experimentation, partnering with engineers and business leaders to implement solutions.

The ideal candidate is a mid-career economist with a PhD who can design and run rigorous evaluations of benefits programs, develop structural models, and communicate insights to senior leaders to influence company-wide policies.
