Category Engineering (Non-Software)

Design and integrate vehicle electrical systems, including architecture, power distribution, and wiring harness modeling. Support harness fabrication, debug electrical assemblies, and communicate effectively with program managers, planners, and technicians.

  • Generate electrical system architecture designs;Develop low and high voltage power distribution systems;Perform 2D schematic capture and 3D wire harness modeling/routing;Provide engineering support for harness fabrication;Debug electrical assemblies and harnessing

Work includes system requirements analysis, electrical system architecture design, 2D schematic capture, 3D modeling/routing of vehicle wire harnesses, and development of low/high voltage power distribution. Hands-on validation includes debugging with multimeters and oscilloscopes, plus support for PCB design and electrical subassemblies for automotive and military applications.

The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with 2+ years of related experience (or a master’s with 1+ year) building electrical system architectures and developing power distribution for vehicles. They have hands-on experience with 2D schematic capture, PCB Design, wiring harness modeling/routing, and debugging electrical assemblies using multimeters and oscilloscopes, with bonus familiarity in CAN bus systems like J1939 and CANopen.
