About this role

Electrical Estimator / Product Manager handling transformer proposals, quotes, and order coordination for utility equipment with remote work and occasional in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed transformer proposals based on RFQs, specifications, and documentation; Perform specification reviews to evaluate requirements, options, lead times, testing requirements, and documentation standards; Manage customer orders from quote through production, including resolving discrepancies; Communicate project requirements to internal teams; Liaison between sales, engineering, manufacturing and customers

Technical Overview

Knowledge of power distribution transformers; ERP/SAP familiarity; ability to read technical specifications and drawings; ANSI/IEEE/NEMA standards compliance; strong Excel skills.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer Estimator with transformer knowledge and 2+ years of experience in technical proposals and quoting, comfortable with SAP/ERP systems and Excel, and able to work remotely with occasional meetings in Atlanta/Salt Lake City.

Must-Have Skills
