Key Responsibilities
- Implement asset integrity strategies and provide electrical reliability SME leadership
- Coordinate power system study activities and update power system models
- Use downtime tracking and Root Cause Analysis to identify corrective actions
- Optimize PM / PdM activities to improve MTBF and support 5-year capital planning
- Review and authorize work permits and develop lock-out-tag-out plans
Technical Overview
Acts as an SME for electrical infrastructure equipment including protection and controls across voltage ranges (480V to 69kV), and supports power system study activities with updates to power system models. Uses downtime tracking and Root Cause Analysis to drive corrective actions, while optimizing PM / PdM activities and ensuring safe work through work permits and lock-out-tag-out plans.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior electrical reliability engineer with 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. They bring SME-level expertise in electrical infrastructure (protection and controls) and drive asset integrity through root cause analysis, PM / PdM optimization, power system studies, and lock-out-tag-out planning.
