About this role
Lead and execute the electrical design and technical direction for large-scale hyperscale data center projects. The role blends hands-on engineering with leadership to deliver NEC/IEC-compliant infrastructure and robust installation documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for hyperscale data centers
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and installation documentation
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and industry standards
- Perform system analysis, load balancing, and capacity planning
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams
Technical Overview
Focuses on electrical systems design for hyperscale data centers, including power distribution, backup systems, and critical infrastructure. Requires experience with NEC, IEC, BIM tools (ACC preferred), and strong leadership capabilities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced electrical engineer with 8+ years of data center/critical infrastructure experience, licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or P.Eng, and skilled in NEC/IEC compliance. This person can lead technical teams remotely and deliver large hyperscale data center projects end-to-end.
