About this role
As an Electrical Field Coordinator, you will lead electrical work at the jobsite while ensuring health and safety, quality reporting, and ethical engineering practices. You will support project management with contract administration, project planning, scheduling, and reporting, coordinating both field and office engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical drawings and specifications for field crews
- Prepare quantity calculations, work plans, and work packages
- Coordinate jobsite surveying, work layout support, and as-built data compilation
- Support health and safety including preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and jobsite safety reviews
- Perform material takeoffs and provide project planning, scheduling, and reporting support
Technical Overview
This is a construction engineering coordination role focused on electrical scope execution. It includes interpreting electrical drawings, performing quantity calculations, preparing work plans and packages, supporting field surveying and as-built data, producing material takeoffs, and performing basic electrical engineering calculations and technical drafting.
