About this role
Maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, including PLC-related controls and variable speed drives, while supporting installations and upgrades. Ensure safe operations through electrical safety practices and documentation of maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and devices
- Knowledge and understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and editing PLC programming
- Diagnose component issues and support new installations and upgrades
- Perform regular safety inspections to ovens and keep work area safe, clean and organized
- Lead outside contractors and maintain administrative logbooks/data entry and record keeping

They can troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, work with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) including editing PLC programming, and support equipment upgrades and installations. They have strong safety knowledge aligned to OSHA electrical safe work practices including Lock-out/Tag-out, NFPA 70 Electrical Code, and NFPA 79 Machinery Standards, plus proven skills using DVM and multi-meters.
