About this role
Full-time journeyman electrician role supporting Harrah's Atlantic City by maintaining and repairing electrical systems through preventive maintenance and direct troubleshooting. Work includes motors, panels, lighting, circuits, controls, and support for testing/maintenance of FCC systems and gaming equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and follow schematic circuit drawings
- Repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on motors, panels, and electrical equipment
- Replace burned out light bulbs and repair dimmers and refrigeration controls
- Maintain open communication with Engineering/Maintenance office and assist with testing and maintenance of FCC systems
- May perform above functions on gaming equipment
Technical Overview
Interprets blueprints and electrical schematics, uses test meters, and performs repairs/replacements for motors, panels, electrical equipment, lighting, dimmers, refrigeration controls, and electrical contacts. Conducts testing and maintenance support for FCC systems and may service electrical components on gaming equipment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a journeyman electrician with 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience, able to use test meters and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. They hold the required New Jersey CER License and can perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical motors, panels, lighting, circuits, and related controls in a hotel/casino environment.
