About this role
Maintain and repair industrial electrical systems on the night shift, including facility lighting, power circuits, and electrical components. Troubleshoot process control equipment and instrument systems, installing and calibrating key field instrumentation while keeping test data and failure documentation accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain facility lighting by replacing bulbs and ballast
- Troubleshoot process control equipment and board level instrumentation
- Install and calibrate field instrumentation (RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, pressure transducers)
- Route electrical conduit and cables and run power circuits
- Record test data and ensure electrical failures are properly documented
Technical Overview
Work includes electrical troubleshooting at the process control and board-instrumentation level, routing conduit and cables, and performing electrical maintenance. The role requires interpreting technical documents such as blue prints and electrical schematics and applying ladder logic programming knowledge, plus installing and calibrating RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an electrician with at least two-plus years of hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment in an industrial setting. They are comfortable troubleshooting process control equipment and board-level instrumentation, and they can install and calibrate RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers while documenting test data and following electrical code requirements.
