About this role
Maintain and repair facility electrical systems, including lighting and power circuits, while supporting safe electrical and plant safety programs. Troubleshoot process control equipment and board-level instrumentation, and install/calibrate field instrumentation such as RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain facility lighting by replacing bulbs and ballast as needed
- Repair or replace faulty parts and run power circuits
- Route electrical conduit and cables while following safe electrical practices
- Troubleshoot process control equipment and board level instrumentation
- Install and calibrate field instrumentation including RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers
Technical Overview
This is an industrial electrical role focused on troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical infrastructure. The work includes interpreting electrical schematics and ladder logic programming, routing conduit/cables, recording test data, and calibrating field instrumentation (RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, pressure transducers).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an Electrician III with 2+ years of experience repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment in a manufacturing facility. They can troubleshoot process control equipment and board-level instrumentation, install and calibrate field instrumentation (RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, pressure transducers), and follow electrical code requirements while supporting shift work and safety programs.
