About this role
Electro Mechanical Technician I provides mechanical and electrical support to keep laminate flooring manufacturing efficient and high quality. The role performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks and contributes to process improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing manufacturing machinery
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks
- Monitor and respond to demand maintenance requirements
- Troubleshoot production equipment using mechanical/electrical schematics
- Implement and document process improvement techniques
Technical Overview
Hands-on equipment maintenance including electrical and mechanical schematic interpretation. Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, automated material handling, 480vac VFD's, and PLC control logic troubleshooting is required/strongly emphasized.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an industrial maintenance professional with prior experience supporting manufacturing equipment. They can service, repair, adjust, and test machinery using electrical and mechanical schematics, and they have experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, 480vac VFD's, and PLC control logic troubleshooting.
