About this role
Electronics Technician will support repair, refurbishment, and testing of X-ray and metal detection inspection equipment. The work includes following detailed procedures, documenting quality checklists, maintaining safe work areas, and completing basic SAP Transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow detailed work instructions and procedures
- Diagnose, refurbish and repair X-ray inspection equipment per Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelines
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and material to Repair Supervisors and/or Repair Manager
- Document actions by completing quality checklists and tracking time spent
- Perform entry level SAP Transactions and support training/advancement with supervision
Technical Overview
The technical scope focuses on hands-on electronics repair for low complexity modules, including X-ray tanks, detectors, and X-ray generators. Tasks also include return evaluation and refurbishment steps like tank cleaning, along with assessing MT Flex industrial computers and completing QN tasks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level electronics technician comfortable following detailed work instructions to diagnose, refurbish, and repair X-ray related inspection equipment. They should be able to maintain safe, organized work practices and complete basic SAP Transactions while working under supervision for hands-on tasks.
