About this role
This internship will support the Collection Platforms & AI team by building and enhancing ML-powered products and pipelines for natural language understanding, data extraction, information retrieval, and data sourcing. The role emphasizes end-to-end execution from inception and prototyping through productionizing AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review basic software data and information and perform preliminary analysis to provide actionable insights
- Support design and development of hardware and/or software operating systems
- Build knowledge of products, services, technologies, software languages, and methodologies offered by the business area
- Develop next-generation products and enhance existing ones
- Spearhead development of production-ready AI products and pipelines
Technical Overview
You will develop applied Machine Learning solutions focused on natural language understanding, extraction, retrieval, and data sourcing. The stack requirements highlighted include Python and SQL for analyzing and working with large datasets, with production-ready AI product and pipeline development.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an undergraduate or graduate student in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field who has strong analytical skills and learning agility. They have hands-on experience with Python and working knowledge of SQL and large datasets, with a strong interest in applied Machine Learning for natural language understanding, data extraction, and information retrieval.
