About this role
This role supports an organization’s desktop computing environment with a strong endpoint security focus. You will manage Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) identities and implement Zero Trust/ZTNA security measures while troubleshooting and maintaining desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) identities, permissions, and authentication
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust security measures (access control, virus protection, software patches)
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Install, configure, deploy operating systems and software updates with documentation
Technical Overview
You will administer Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for account and group policy workflows and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) access control. The position also includes hands-on desktop/laptop/mobile support, remote desktop assistance, OS and software update management, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi connectivity.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level desktop security engineer with 2-4 years of hands-on desktop support or IT helpdesk experience and strong identity/security expertise. They have practical experience administering Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and enforcing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) controls to manage user access, permissions, and security posture.
