About this role
As an Energy Procurement Senior Analyst, you support Ball’s Indirect Procurement team by managing energy sourcing activities across North & Central America. You perform supplier offer review, market analysis, risk management, reporting, and contract/renewal tracking for electricity and natural gas procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tendering and procurement for electricity and natural gas supply contracts in NCA region
- Analyze and summarize supplier offers within procurement timelines
- Prepare market analysis and energy updates for sector/group hedge committees
- Maintain energy data trackers and procurement records including contract execution and renewals
- Gather and report energy spend, savings, hedging positions, and market exposure including quarterly hedge validation
Technical Overview
The role is heavily analytics-driven, requiring data modeling and reporting in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI. You will build and maintain energy data trackers, reconcile monthly energy invoices, and support hedging validation and monitoring for energy risk management positions.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level energy procurement professional with experience supporting tendering and procurement of electricity and natural gas supply contracts. They have strong data analysis and modeling skills using Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI, and they can perform market analysis and energy risk management including hedging position monitoring.
