About this role
Engineering role performing system planning and circuit analysis of distribution circuits 15kV and below, with project engineering and management duties for distribution facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, cost estimate, budget and manage projects related to electric distribution facilities
- Provide engineering assistance and technical support to field engineering representatives and other Region personnel
- Perform power quality/troubleshooting analysis for customers' facilities
- Meet with residential and commercial customers, architects, contractors, and other appropriate contacts
- Prepare load analysis for electric distribution substations and feeders and develop remediation plans
Technical Overview
Plan, design, and cost estimate electric distribution projects; load analysis for substations and feeders; work with multiple company systems (DOJM, MV90, EADMS, CSS, SYNERGI, Load Analysis, OAS, Byers).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry to junior electrical/mechanical engineer with strong analytical skills, eagerness to learn power distribution engineering, and working knowledge of distribution systems up to 15kV.
