About this role
This role (Design/Shop Engineer) supports the engineering lifecycle for gas mains/services, including installation of new facilities and retirement of existing ones. The engineer coordinates with multiple teams and provides response and support in emergency situations.

Technical Overview
The work focuses on technical responsibility for planning, developing, interpreting, organizing, coordinating, and executing complex engineering and project management activities. It includes understanding customer gas supply needs (meter and regulator requirements), producing as-built updates, and learning related software used in customer service and project contexts.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an early-career engineer (entry to 2-5 years depending on level) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and strong communication and analytical skills. They can support gas operations and installation work, coordinate with design and project teams, and handle emergency response support while maintaining driving requirements.
