Position Details
About this role
Provide Level 3 operational support for Avantor's global enterprise network, including WAN, LAN, Wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, and Internet services; incident management and RCA; vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 operational support for WAN, LAN, Wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, and Internet services in a global enterprise environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 teams
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews
- Maintain and update network documentation, configurations, and topology diagrams
- Mentor Level 1 & 2 support teams
Technical Overview
Hands-on with routing, switching, wireless, VPN, SD-WAN; Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Viptela, Meraki, Aruba; network monitoring tools; RCA and post-incident reviews; 24x7 operations
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Level 3 network engineer with 2+ years of enterprise network experience, strong WAN/LAN, SD-WAN and VPN skills, and CCNA certification; CCNP preferred.
