About this role
IT infrastructure engineer for a water treatment project at Minera Yanacocha; responsible for implementing, maintaining, and securing IT infrastructure in a high-altitude mining setting with on-site operations and defined deployment windows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of IT infrastructure; Execute configuration, updates, monitoring and optimization; Coordinate with cybersecurity and operations to ensure standards; Diagnose and resolve critical incidents; Maintain records, backups, and security policies
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes virtualization, Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware, and disaster recovery; emphasis on cybersecurity policies, backups, documentation, and change management.
